Tim Patton, described lovingly as a Hampstead ' local legend', opened his office doors to the Evening Standard in the February of 1994 to give the world an exclusive look into his study. Any alumni who attended St. Anthony's under his headship cannot fail to remember this unique and inimitable space, indeed as Jil Hales describes it; “Patton’s study at 1 Arkwright Road is a room where memory is made tangible”. Described by Tim himself as “planned chaos”, his study was a clutter of books, papers, posters and gifts from pupils collected over his three decades of work in the school.
