Invitation to the 19th Annual Antonian Ball in 1933
Invitation to the 19th Annual Antonian Ball in 1933
Here we have is a vintage original invitation to the final ball in 1939, at the May Fair Hotel, in London and war was looming and the note above the advert reminds parents that all boys must return to school with their gas masks.  These were beautiful grand events, with men dressed in white tie and tails, their partners in jewels and ballgowns. In keeping with the mission of the School, these events raised funds for many charities such as St. Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney.

Do you have any old invitations from your time at the school? If so,  we would love to receive copies or share them onto the alumni website!
